- Experience: With over 13 years in the field, Leisha is well-versed in all aspects of primary care, including plant-based therapy prescriptions.

Meet Kate O'Flynn
Naturopathy, Nutrition & Psychotherapy
At Walker Street Doctors, we are delighted to welcome Kate O'Flynn, a Masters-qualified psychotherapist and experienced naturopath and nutritionist with more than 26 years of clinical practice.
Kate has a particular interest in women's health and midlife wellbeing, supporting women through perimenopause and menopause, hormonal changes, stress, anxiety and burnout, sleep difficulties, digestive and gut health concerns, and periods of significant life change.
Kate's approach recognises that physical health and emotional wellbeing are often closely interconnected. Drawing on her extensive background in naturopathy and nutrition alongside her training in psychotherapy, counselling and breathwork, she works with the whole person rather than treating symptoms in isolation.
Qualifications and Expertise
- Naturopathy & Nutrition: With more than 26 years of clinical experience, Kate brings a deep understanding of how nutrition, lifestyle, physiology, gut health and hormonal health can influence overall wellbeing.
- Counselling & Psychotherapy: Kate holds a Masters in Counselling and Psychotherapy from the University of Canberra and supports patients experiencing stress, anxiety, burnout, sleep difficulties and significant periods of change or transition.
- Women's & Midlife Health: Kate has a particular interest in supporting women throughperimenopause and menopause, taking an integrated approach to the physical, hormonal and emotional changes that can occur during this stage of life.

Kate believes that people are more than a collection of symptoms. Her approach is to understand the bigger picture, including health history, nutrition, lifestyle, digestion, hormones, sleep, stress, emotional wellbeing and the demands of everyday life.

She also values working alongside GPs, specialists and other medical and allied health practitioners, recognising the importance of coordinated care, appropriate medical investigation and referral where required.
