Senior Registered Nurse - General Practice (Part Time)

This is a unique opportunity to practice patient-centered care in a forward-thinking general practice where you'll work collaboratively with our GPs to deliver exceptional healthcare outcomes.

 Key Responsibilities 

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in collaboration with our GP team 
• Conduct health assessments, including vital signs, measurements, and basic health screenings 
• Deliver preventative healthcare and patient education 
• Facilitate health coaching and motivational interviewing to support patient goals 
• Coordinate patient care pathways and navigate the healthcare system 
• Manage treatment room operations and inventory 
• Identify opportunities for additional patient care needs and health improvements 
• Contribute to practice development and efficiency improvements 

 About You 

 The ideal candidate will bring: 

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse 
• Strong clinical skills and experience in primary healthcare 
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities 
• Natural confidence and professional presence 
• Business acumen and understanding of practice operations 
• Proactive approach to patient care and practice efficiency 
• Demonstrated ability to build rapport with health-literate professionals 
• Experience in health coaching and motivational interviewing (preferred) 
• Commitment to ongoing professional development 
• Ability to work autonomously while maintaining strong team collaboration

 Essential Requirements 

• Current AHPRA registration 
• Minimum 2 years post-registration experience in General Practice
• Working With Children Check 
• Current CPR certification 
• Full vaccination status
