Throughout her career, Alice has had roles that have utilised her skills as a doctor with special interests in public health and management. Alice studied medicine at UNSW, completed over 3 years’ general residency at Sydney & St Luke’s Hospitals, then studied & worked in Boston. After graduating with a Master of Public Health from Harvard University, she worked as a Research Associate in the Department of Health Policy & Management at Harvard School of Public Health and also as a consultant to a firm of Health Economists.
On returning to Australia, Alice worked for 12 years at the Mater Hospital, North Sydney. Initially she was Director of Medical Services (DMS) and then for 7 years she was CEO & DMS. She was then appointed CEO of Castlereagh Imaging and Illawarra Radiology Group, which are wholly owned subsidiaries of Sonic Healthcare Ltd. This role included managing radiology practices throughout NSW, during a time of significant change in the industry. For the past 8 years, Alice was CEO of The Skin Hospital, located at Darlinghurst and Westmead.
Over the past year, Alice has kept current with the latest knowledge regarding COVID-19, the development of vaccines and has completed the additional training required to ensure the safe & effective rollout of the COVID vaccines to our patients.
